This Fenton piece is made of iridescent carnival glass, which gives it the distinctive rainbow-like sheen. 
The "Coin Dot" pattern features a design of raised or sunken dots across the surface
 The base glass is amethyst (purple), which appears as deep red/purple tones, with iridescence adding hues of gold, green, and orange. 
 In excellent condition, a common collectible item.
